Success in the Senior Maths Challenge & Maths Olympiad for Girls
Congratulations to the 92 pupils who took part in the UKMT Senior Maths Challenge on 9 October, a one hour paper aimed at Sixth Formers.聽They achieved 32 Gold Certificates, 32 Silver Certificates, and 22 Bronze certificates between them. Well done!
Special聽Congratulations聽to Adrian S who achieved Best in School and Jack Z who achieved Best in Year. Very special聽congratulations聽to Jiayi L and Yitong Wang who achieved Golds and Best in Year despite being out of the age category.
Very well done to those who have qualified for the British Maths Olympiad Round 1. These are: Jiayi L, Rares A, 聽Emma D, Jack Z,聽 Rodney L, Anastasia and Adrian S.
Congratulations also聽to the 24 students who qualified for the Senior Kangaroo.
These follow-on rounds are held on Wednesday 19 November this year.
We are also celebrating the success of Anastasia, Florence, and Jiayi who took part in the Maths Olympiad for Girls two weeks prior to the Senior Maths Challenge. All three achieved a distinction, with Anastasia and Jiayi winning automatic qualification to the BMO1. Very well done indeed.
