Ava Shines with PB in Triple Jump at Inter-County Champs!
Ava was honoured to be invited by the听South of England Athletic Association (SEAA)听to represent听Surrey County听in the听Triple Jump听at the听Inter-County U15/U17 Athletics Championships, held in听Oxford听this week.听
The day was far from ideal, with heavy downpours making conditions tough for all athletes. The competition was intense, with top athletes from 11 counties battling it out for top positions trying to earn points for their respective counties.听
Ava鈥檚 event听Triple Jump听was the final event of the day,听adding to the suspense. She delivered an outstanding performance, achieving a听personal best of 10.00 meters听and finishing听5th overall听among the top county athletes in her category.
Her contribution helped听Surrey secure 2nd place overall in the U15 Girls category, narrowly missing the top spot by just a few points. Ava was thrilled with her result and proud to have played a key role in Surrey鈥檚 success.
